Flatwater Theater Company Returns to The Swan (AKA, The Stables)

Flatwater once again performed its William Shakespeare productions in the beautifully restored Swan Theater. This unique open air setting was a perfect venue for the timeless works of Shakespeare, directed by masterful Bob Hall. "As You Like It" opened June 4-7. This was the beginning of Flatwater's "Free in the Parks" tour, which also performed at various park locations throughout Lincoln for the following three weekends. The final two shows were back at The Swan June 27-28. Flatwater Shakespeare's fall production, Hamlet, opened September 17 and ran at The Swan Theater for three weekends. Community Crops Annual Event

Because of the flooding in Lincoln this last week Wyuka Stables was the chosen site of the Community Crops Annual plant sale- fund raiser Saturday May 9th. It was a privilege to be able to have the space needed to help out an organization that helps our community in many ways. Several hundred people visited Wyuka Stables and purchased native Nebraska plants to grow in their summer gardens. Please visit communitycrops.org for more information about this organization.
